If you don’t listen to ANYTHING else we say, please please take the drive to Calie’s Acre!
Unfortunately, Lili had class today so I was lucky enough to hang out with these cuties today. As I have mentioned in the past, typically the world shuts down on Mondays, but not on this sun shiny acre! I could not have been more thankful to just find something open, much less somewhere awesome! Prayers answered.
Have you (like us) spent $30+ at Yesterland Farms for a decent time? Well, for $30 at Calie’s Acre you get the royal treatment!

There is nowhere.. and I mean nowhere this fun at this price!
THE BARNYARD
I may want to come back in my next life as one of the barnyard animals, you can tell they have an abundance of love and care!
They have baby chicks, chickens, rooster, goats, bunnies, & mini donkeys, Lo Lo & Stitch š
PAINT THE PIG
It’s less messy than it sounds.. They have two pigs that can be drawn all over with expo markers! It’s nice when the girls actually have permission to draw all over something!
SPIDER WEB
I loved that the attractions at Calie’s Acre were out of the box! Not just your run of the mill activities, they all had such a neat element to them. The girls loved climbing and rolling all over the spider web.
MUSIC GARDEN
Speaking of unique, the Music Garden was probably one of the coolest parts of this adventure. Such a simple idea of painted pots and pans, with so much awesomeness! I mean what more could these girls ask for? They can bang on things with sticks and make as much noise as they want! I think we’ve got some future Rockstars on our hands!
HAAAAAAYYYYYY
Who knew that hay could be so cool? Hayride, hay fort, hay maze & more! I mean this dead plant is multi-faceted and packed with fun! The girls did not really like the “poking” though (insert eye-roll emoji).
BOUNCY BALL
Did I mention that up until now, all of these activities are included in the GA? Although, this wasn’t included, I would have gladly paid more than $1 to let the girls play in the bouncy ball area. They had an absolute blast playing and knocking each other over!
Just look at those smiles & curls will you?? Cuteness overload… I think yes!
DUCK RACES & BARREL TRAIN
Both of these activities were well worth the $1 and they even got to pick out the rubber duck and take it home after the race! The girls were overjoyed about this! And who doesn’t love a dose of healthy competition. Luckily, the barrel ride mended the friendship!
PHOTO OPS
I could probably have written a whole blog on all the adorable pictures you can get here! I mean tons of painted characters, pumpkin displays, the giant chair, and more! So definitely dress cute!
All in all, I was absolutely amazed with all of the fun we had! We essentially had the place to ourselves and all of the staff was extremely kind and helpful! Completely willing to stop what they were doing to take us on a hayride or barrel train ride or snap a pic! They even have a food truck & shaved ice truck available along with an adorable gift shop.
The only downside and literally it’s the only one, the Sugar Bees.. Yipes! While you can take your own picnic, do not, I repeat DO NOT bring peanut butter an jellies… Abigayle had a full blown meltdown, while Seri “Beewhisperer” was fine. They don’t sting unless you bother them, but they were all over us while trying to eat. I wouldn’t have been surprised if we ate one while taking a bit. So if you do eat either buy from the truck or bring something with little to no sugar!
REMEMBER
- Cute outfits (but comfortable shoes)
- Pants (due to hay)
- Cash
- Camera
- Water
- Low sugar snacks
All our love,
The Adventurers
